Biography

Boansi Adu Ababio is a distinguished researcher in Chemistry withΒ  specialization in analytical and environmental chemistry. He is at the frontiers of modelling and assessing the impacts of various technologies in reducing pollutants across diverse fates in the environment. He is dedicated to exploring innovative solutions for environmental and health challenges. His research spans critical areas, including the analysis of the sources and innovative ways to reduce contaminants such as potentially toxic elements, microplastics, pesticides, criteria and super pollutants in matrices such as food, water, soil, indoor environments and the atmosphere.

Passionate about sustainable solutions, he actively explores and assesses the efficiency of greener and cleaner energies and technologies to reduce and mitigate air, water, food and soil pollution. His vision aligns with shaping a Ghana that is conscious of mitigating anthropogenically sourced pollutants through the integration of innovative technologies at the nexus of science for a sustainable and healthier
