STEM Policy advisor, Office of the Minister of Education, Prof. Mark Adom-Asamoah advocated institutionalization of affirmative action to encourage girls to pursue STEM education.

“It is vital that we encourage our younger generation to undertake STEM education. This will be achieved by institutionalizing affirmative action and encouraging inclusivity such as allocating admission slots to less endowed schools and hard-to-reach areas of our countries,” he charged.
