TCC's pledge to manufacturing excellence has resulted in the development of innovative technologies to bolster indigenous industries and institutions. The Centre's research fellows have created effective water filters using local materials, cost-effective cement supplements for building and block making, mechanical equipment for agricultural use, energy-efficient cookstoves, diesel fuel from plastic waste, detergents, and food processing tools. These innovations have significantly contributed to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 9, 4, 6, and 7. As part of our 2024 digitalization agenda, TCC is expanding its research design laboratories to incorporate Internet of Things (IoT) applications in these manufacturing domains.
